For past younger generations, the major concern was how to handle acne. Today’s young generation is very concerned with anti-aging along with acne treatment. The difference is that millennials are taking an offensive approach to aging instead of waiting to take a defensive approach at an older age.
As we age, the skin suffers wear and tear and the collagen and elastin responsible for keeping skin firm weakens and the skin becomes thinner. Although we cannot control intrinsic aging that is determined by genetics, we can control extrinsic aging that is affected by environment and lifestyle choices. The key point is do NOT wait until you are older to take care of your skin.
